Zoltán Kovács - klarnet

Zoltán Kovács (Węgry/Niemcy) rozpoczął swoją karierę muzyczną zdobywając pierwszą nagrodę na Międzynarodowym Konkursie "Concertino Prag" w Czechach. Jest laureatem licznych międzynarodowych konkursów, od 2005 roku wykłada grę na klarnecie w Państwowej Wyższej Szkole Muzycznej w Trossingen/Niemcy oraz prowadzi mistrzowskie kursy interpretacji. W roku 2010 uzyskał tytuł doktora sztuk muzycznych. Zoltán Kovács ukończył studia z wyróżnieniem w Państwowej Wyższej Szkole Muzycznej we Freiburgu w klasie prof. Dietera Klöckera oraz studia podyplomowe w klasie solo prof. Jörga Widmanna na tej samej uczelni. Był stypendystą Niemieckiej Fundacji Kulturalnej "Villa Musica". Zoltán Kovács regularnie współpracuje z czołowymi orkiestrami w Niemczech, m.in. Monachijską Orkiestrą Kameralną. Występował również w roli solisty z Praską Orkiestrą Kameralną. Koncertuje regularnie na terenie całej Europy z Ensemble Ascolta, Consortium Classicum, Ensemble Modern, Minguet Quartett, biorąc udział w wielu ważnych festiwalach, takich jak: Heidelberger Frühling, Schumannfest Düsseldorf, Europäisches Musikfest Stuttgart, Schumannfest Zwickau, ECLAT Festival Stuttgart, Inselfestival Hombroich. Dokonał licznych prawykonań utworów współczesnych. Różnorodne produkcje radiowe i telewizyjne oraz 5 płyt dokumentuje walory artystyczne jego osoby. Regularnie zasiada w jury konkursów muzycznych, m.in. „Konkursu Muzyki Kameralnej Friedrich-Jürgen-Sellheim-Gesellschaft".

The Hungarian clarinetist Zoltán Kovács musical career however, began much earlier as a repeated award winner in Hungarian national and international woodwind competitions. In 1996 he was awarded the first prize in the ''Concertino Prag'' international competition. He has been teaching at the Academy of Music Trossingen since 2005 and still took the time to give Master classes in Hungary, Spain and Germany. Since 2008 he is professor at the Chambermusiccourse from the German Mozart-Society. 2010 received a doctorate degree from the Music University of Music in Lodz in Poland. He began his musical studies in Budapest at the Franz Liszt Music Academy (1996) and finished in Freiburg, Germany 2001 with a Performance Diploma from the Musikhochschule Freiburg under the renowned clarinetist Professor Dieter Klöcker. His postgraduate Diploma followed 2003 under the well known composer Professor Jörg Widmann. For his outstanding achievements in chamber music he was awarded a four year scholarship grant (2001-2004) to participate in the renowned German chamber music courses ''Villa Musica''. He also plays regularly with the Munich Chamber Orchestra, has solo-performances with the Prager Chamber Orchestra and is a regular guest soloist with such renowned European ensembles as the Ensemble Ascolta, the Ensemble Modern, the Minguet Quartet and the Ensemble Consortium Classicum, as well as at many significant European music-festivals such as the Heidelberger Frühling, the Schumannfestival Düsseldorf, the European Musicfestival Stuttgart, the Schumannfest Zwickau and the Inselfestival Hombroich. He has a special interest in contemporary music and has played many "debut-performances" for composers. Zoltán Kovács performances on both radio and television further document his exceptional musical qualities. His recordings include 5 CD-s. He become - on the regular terms - a member of various music competition panels; among other The Chamber Music Competition of Friedrich-Jürgen-Sellheim Society.
